We’re certain you’ve noticed our absence over the last several months and for that we apologize. CRIS has been in a constant state of transition following the exit of one of our largest customers (Ritz Camera & Imaging) from the market, the addition of our newest exclusive authorization (Manfrotto Distribution), and most recently the addition of Ricoh Security Solutions. These major changes have occupied much of our time, time that was previously used for this blog (among other things)–but that is going to change starting now!
First things first, if you’re going to continue to follow camerarepair.org, and we sure hope you do, you will want to subscribe to our blog feed. In case you haven’t heard the news, Google has decided to shut down its Reader service effective July 1, 2013. If you happen to be among some hundreds of thousands of users who silently, or maybe not so silently, shouted WTF at this announcement, you should move your feed soon! We don’t want to tell you what to do, but you can find some great resources here, here, and here to find one that works best for you. Personally we have been happy since our move to feedly, but to each their own.
Next week we will publish our first post of the year-you won’t want to miss it! Going forward, we’d love to incorporate more of your voice in our blog. Include a repair topic that interests you in the comments section below, and we’ll be sure to answer your inquiry in a future post.
